Founded in 1983, JR Gilbert Engineering is a leading precision engineering company specializing in high precision machining services for a wide range of industries, including automation, aerospace, automotive, and bespoke machinery manufacturing. With decades of experience, we have built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality, reliability, and precision.

Our facility is a modern 40,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site, located in Oakdale, Blackwood, south Wales.

We offer comprehensive CNC machining services, including CNC milling and CNC turning, Water cutting, surface grinding, gear cutting and fabrication facilities, using state-of-the-art equipment to produce components with tight tolerances and complex geometries. Our facility houses 13 CNC milling machines, capable of machining parts up to 2500mm long and 1000mm wide, and 4 CNC lathes, including machines with bar feed capability for efficient high-volume production. This allows us to handle everything from one-off prototypes to batch production with exceptional accuracy and consistency.
